Contribute

With the recent talk about guest posting being bad for business, we have come up with a set of criteria to help us maintain a collection of high-quality content for our readers. You can contribute to our blog in several ways.

  1. You can be a reader and provide feedback from the comments.
  2. You can help us spread your favorite articles on different social media platforms.
  3. You can become a regular contributor to our blog.
  4. You can guest post.
  5. You can also help us by sharing news, events and announcements.

If you’d like to be a regular contributor to our blog, you need to meet some of this criteria:

  • Be a member of our Meetup and attend at least once.
  • You’ve been invited to contribute.
  • You have an existing blog with over 30 solid posts.
  • You have an active audience in a channel other than a blog (social, email, offline).
  • You commit yourself to write at least 1 article per month for at least 6 months; limit is one per day.

Guest posting is also allowed, see Guest Posting section below.

Guidelines

Blogposts must be of high quality, original and content driven. Length does not necessarily equate to quality but we recommend that your post should be at least 500 words and no longer than 2000.

Focus on the value for the reader, the originality of the content and make sure you spell-check, grammar-check and fact-check.

Spun, regurgitated, or self promoting filler content will not be accepted and submitting it may result in permanent ban as a contributor.

You are allowed one short link (linktrackr, bit.ly, wp.me, etc). This can be used to any property of your choice. Harmful, deceptive, misleading, offensive links will be removed and you may be banned. Link will be nofollow.

You will also be allowed a naked link to your main online property. You may ad as many naked (non-affiliate) links as necessary for reference to support your article. These will be regular links. Do not abuse this. We reserve the right to edit, or remove links.

Notices

  • Articles may be edited at our discretion prior to publishing to ensure quality, style, spelling, grammar. Articles may be corrected later or errata will be issued.
  • All anchor text must be contextual and not keyword based; determined at our discretion.
  • Your article may or may not be syndicated by our members and other online properties.

Guest Posting

Guest posting is open right now. Follow the guidelines listed above and submit your article.

Do not ask if ______________ topic or title is a good fit for our blog. You should be familiar with the various topics we talk about. But just in case, stick to these and similar topics:

  • Online Marketing
  • Monetizing Social Media
  • Affiliate Marketing
  • Affiliate SEO
  • Landing Pages
  • Video Marketing
  • Paid or Organic Traffic
  • Network Marketing

Just write your blogpost and submit it, if we reject it, you can always publish it on your own blog. No, you can’t pay to post your article.

News, Events and Announcements

You can contribute news, events and announcements and these do not need to follow the guidelines for regular contributors or guest bloggers. The guidelines are much simpler for these type of posts.

  • A high-quality summary or description of the item is required; about 200 – 400 words is enough.
  • Include the fundamental details and facts of the news item, announcement or event. Include dates, times, address, names, phone numbers, and other pertinent information.
  • We allow one short byline with a naked link to your main online property and one naked link to the main source.

Before you submit your article

Please take a minute to read our fine print.

By submitting an article, you agree to help distribute it and let people know about it. Sharing a snippet and the title of the article on your blog, social media outlets, or email list is a great way to distribute the content.

By submitting an article, you agree to grant us exclusive rights to the article for the first 30 days from publishing date. After 30 days, you grant us a non-exclusive but perpetual license and rights to do whatever we want with the article.

This means that you may not publish the article anywhere else, or grant permission to anybody else to publish the article for the first 30 days after we publish it.

If we reject your article or chose not to put it on the schedule within 21 days from the date you submit it, we waive our exclusive rights listed above but retain the non-exclusive and perpetual rights.
